All seminars are at 1pm on Saturdays

January 19 – Help Me, I am Not a Garden Expert! –Spring is coming, so attend this fun class on some gardening tricks, and time savers for people who are not yet expert status.

 January 26 – Wildlife Conservation – Baby Season is Near – MS. Wildlife Rehabilitation will bring some animals and talk about wildlife rehabilitation. Learn what to do when you find a helpless baby animal! We get calls every year on squirrels and an occasional deer. Fun for gardeners, plus their children or grandchildren!

February 9 – Gardening Styles – History is a Great Teacher – Garden style is something which we take for granted, come learn the origins and steal some great ideas for your garden.

February 23 – Gardening Blunders, Learn From your Mistakes – we hate making mistakes, learn from the mistakes of others. This class covers a bunch of ground and is beginner and veteran gardener friendly.

March 16 – New Plants for the Upper South – Richard Williamson (plant guru) sales consultant for Bracy’s Nursery, a grower that provides great container plants to independent garden centers across the south.

March 23 – Spring is Officially Here! – Learn about plants which are new and arriving soon, plus how you can have a better garden this spring. What is timely that you should be doing in the garden now!

April 13 – Container Gardening & Flowers Galore – Spring is here and container gardening is very popular. Learn how best to succeed – soils, fertilizers, plants, plus see our terrific collection of new containers.

April 20 – Monrovia Nursery – The Best Plants – The nation’s leader in cool plant introductions shares some of their present & future stars; presented by Brent Grunfeld our Monrovia Tennessee representative.

 May 11 – Kitchen Gardening & Organics – Growing your own food is cool, and eating is even better. Learn the best plants for gardens with little or no input of chemicals. Composting, plus organics will be touched on.

May 25 – We Love Butterflies and Hummingbirds – if you plant the right stuff, your garden will host these winged wonders; come learn what is best and other neat facts. A good class for gardeners & critter lovers!

June 8 – The Water Garden – If you have a water garden, are interested in how to have cleaner water, or if you are not sure what an ecosystem is and how it helps you in your pond – this class is for you!

June 22 – Shade Gardening – Work with Nature – shade can be hard if you are fighting with nature. Learn to be one with the shade garden and which of our plants are best for a long show!
